Mark Kadin
Mark Kadin ((ロシア語:Марк Львович Кадин); born April 28, 1965) is a Russian chief conductor and musical director of Ukrainian origin.
==Biography==
Kadin was born in Kramatorsk, Ukraine. He works with numerous Russian music companies including the New Music Studio and Moscow Ensemble of Modern Music with which he traveled to Belgium and the Netherlands. He also have recordings of his music which were published by Russian Supply, SEM and Le Chant du Monde. In 1997 he was invited by Mikhail Pletnev on a position of a pianist conductor at the Russian National Orchestra and from 1999 to 2003 worked at the ''Moscow Virtuosi'' orchestra as an associated conductor with which he traveled to Germany and Switzerland. He made his first public conducting appearance of Nikolayev's ''The Gold of Narts'' ballet which was performed at the Bolshoi Theatre. The same year he also participated at the International East Anglian Summer Music Festival where he conducted the London Chamber Orchestra and then conducted Russian National Orchestra at the Festival International de Colmar in France. He also worked as a guest conductor for Russian orchestras such as the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra and Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra as well as other orchestras around the world. Since 2004 he works as a principal conductor of the Krasnoyarsk Symphony Orchestra where he conducts over 40 works per year and is also known for introduction of Dmitry Kabalevsky's requiem which was not performed for 30 years.
